Caroline McAslan loves to do a huge variety of art and craft work. As well as experimenting with iPad paintings in pastel and watercolour, she loves working in acrylics, pen and ink and oils. Caroline is always busy sewing or knitting to create Christmas crafts and make cards for sale. Drawing inspiration from wildlife and nature is where her focus lies. Above all creating colourful works in many different mediums is what motivates her most.

I have picked up drawing and painting for the last 3 years and during that time I came to realise how much I love creating. Having spent many years in education, teaching - I have recently sent myself back to school and am in the midst of completing a Foundation Art Diploma at the Art Academy London and am eventually planning on pursuing a BA in Fine Art. During my time at art school, I have enjoyed exploring and working with many different mediums from word, clay, moving image and painting, I have spent my time making installations and moving image works as well as painting and drawing. I particularly love the immediacy of working with charcoal and at this early stage in my journey - I expect I will continue to explore both landscape and figurative subjects which I find equally wonderful.

Christopher Harrison

Chris is an award-winning landscape and nature photographer based near Henley-on-Thames. By day, Chris works in technology, but outside of that, you'll usually find him immersed in nature with his camera.

Chris loves to capture fleeting moments that transform ordinary landscapes into something extraordinary; sunrise through misty woodlands, dramatic weather, or frosty winter mornings. Chris's photography combines patience, local knowledge, and endless curiosity, often requiring significant scouting, preparation and perseverance.

Whilst sharing his work online and photography awards motivate Chris, his greatest reward is simply being out in nature, connecting deeply with the environment.

In 2024, Chris won the British Photography Awards Landscape category with his photograph "Bluebells at Sunrise," and the Sigma UK Photographer of the Year "Our Planet" category. Chris has also been a finalist in competitions like the British Wildlife Photography Awards, Wildlife Photographer of the Year, and Nature Photographer of the Year, and my work has been featured in Outdoor Photographer magazine.
